Direct to Garment Printing is one the coolest mediums of garment customization I've come across in my time here. With Direct to Garment Printing, you can select any image from a simple google search, pick out a Shirt or Tote bad and we can print it full color. At Digital Stitchz, we print with the intent of long term use. Because of this, we take special care with evaluating the images to print as well as pretreat garments to help them hold the ink longer. Good news! Because this is full color printing directly onto a garment, there are no screen cutting fees, no setup fees, and no minimum quantity!
From Start to Finish
First, we will need a .Tiff .Jpeg or .Png image to print. We prefer high quality images for a more crisp print. You can email the Design to DigitalStitchz@hotmail.com, we will also need to know where on the garment you wish to print, as well as size, & if you require any minor changes. When a Graphic Designer is needed, we will enlist the help of our in house Designer, However, this will add time to processing and is an additional cost of $30/hr.
We have an Online Design Shop for you to create your own works of art without the Graphic Design fee. You can add, alter, and adjust your design till your hearts content. From our Design Studio, you can also get an immediate quote and even place your order, all from home. Next, we will choose a garment to print on. We highly recommend 100% Ring Spun Cotton, or our RTP shirts. However, some Poly/Cotton blends and Tri-Blends are suitable. Please keep in mind, dark colors and poly blends will be duller than on a light 100% cotton garment, or again the RTP shirts. Once a garment or garments are selected, we start our work! We will order the garments, which ship from our distributor in Reno, Nevada. Then prepared for pretreating the following day. Please note that you are welcome to bring in your own garments as long as they are cotton based.
The Pre-Treat process take 12-24 hours and helps the ink penetrate and stick to the cloth longer. Pre-Treating is absolutely vital to the longevity of the prints. Once cured, we set up the art, iron garment, set up the printer to print the highest quality, and print. We press and seal the ink to the shirt immediately after printing. Then we text or call you to notify you that your order is complete and ready for pick up.
