Our facility and staff are equipped and trained to handle personal jobs as well as corporate, schools, and team jobs.
First Things First
What are your goals, intended colors, ideas, and time line? Once we have a solid plan, we will start with digitizing your provided images. After that, we verify spacing, sizing, and location twice to ensure the right stitch is in the right place. Then begins the hooping and stitching process. This is the point when the thread hits the fabric! Our machines and staff will tirelessly work with attention to detail and dedication to produce your creation.
What is Digitizing?
Although it is the first step, digitizing an image is more than just a scan. Knowing about the process may help with understanding why it is vital for a proper embroidered image. Digitizing begins with the image provided. it is evaluated for quality, detail, and in rare cases, redrawing needs to match the intended goal. After evaluating and making any clean-up changes to provided image our digitizers will create a stitch map. It is imperative the map matches the direction, thickness and stitch size requirements to create the best look. This process takes time, knowledge of how our machines work, what each stich requires for spacing and clearance, which stitches go first for the proper overlap and professional look, and what the final product will look like. The digitizer also needs to know what type of fabric the image will be going on, the type of threads that can and will be used, and how the machines will operate with the final stitch map. Scrubs are thinner than polo shirts, therefore, need a different type of of stitching and thread. A letterman's Jacket is very think and will need the digital stitching image to accommodate for this. Once the designed image is complete, it is tested. If that test holds up to the strict requirements for our products, we will begin sewing the embroidered image.
What's the Process?
First, we will need the logo, image, and/or proper spelling of the names you wish to have embroidered. For all logos or images, the clearer the picture, the faster the turn around for digitizing. We absolutely accept .Jpeg images on thumb drives or emailed at the higher end of picture quality. Our digitizers are skilled with redrawing and cleaning up lower quality images, if you are unable to find a crisp copy. Next, what item will we be placing the embroidered image onto? If you already have a garment, bag, hat, or other items your would like embroidered, please bring it with you during your visit. For convenience and to take some pressure off you, we can provide garments for your projects. Please check out our links page for the link to see what types of shirts, sweaters, hats, etc... we can provide for your project. Finally, please provide us with your timeline. After we have compiled all the information and items we need, we will be able to give you a good idea of when your project will be completed.
